The MISERY / EXTINCTION OF MANKIND split is one of the most sought after records of the early 2000’s and it is for a reason. There is absolutely no doubt that this is some of the strongest material each group has brought to the table throughout 2 long careers. EXTINCTION OF MANKIND added Scoot as a new guitarist just before this release, sending them in a slightly different direction from previous records and refining their sound for years to come. One of the things that really stand out on the EOM side is how well the can bring a mid paced attack with relentless double bass work. The MISERY side is simply one crust anthem after another. In my opinion this is the best studio recording MISERY ever received. The opening guitar notes on “Bulldoze” perfectly set the mood for the rest of the record and the song “One More Day” is just downright brilliant. MISERY are always great but on this record they are exceptional. Simply put, this is a mandatory record in any punks collection and we are glad to make it available once again!

Originally released in 2001 with ElderBerry Records (Sweden) & Sin Fronteras Records (Minneapolis) teamed up to handle the vinyl release while Crimes Against Humanity Records (Wisconsin) released a compact disk.
